Statement Of Faith

WE BELIEVE:

1. GOD - In ONE God, the God of Israel (Jehovah/Yahweh), Creator of the world. God is manifest as the Father in creation, the Son in redemption, and the Holy Ghost in regeneration; and these three manifestations constitute the one singular person of God. Bible References

2. JESUS CHRIST - Jesus Christ, "the only begotten Son of God," was the physical manifestation of God Almighty. Jesus Christ was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, manifested His divinity through healings and miraculous, supernatural works; died by crucifixion, and was literally, physically raised up (resurrected) from the dead three days afterwards by the power of God. 3. THE BIBLE - The Holy Bible is the Word of God, and is the only authority and source of truth for the church as it relates to doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness. Bible References

4. SIN & THE GOSPEL - That all humanity is born into a sinful state and can only be saved through obedience (based upon faith) to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The heart and foundation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ rests upon His Divine identity, virgin birth, sinless life, death on the cross of Calvary and literal physical resurrection from the dead, as well as His promise to return to redeem His people unto Himself. The salvation message that was preached by the apostles and the early Christian church is clearly stated in Acts 2:38.. Bible References

5. FULL SALVATION - That all humanity is called to be "Born Again." This requires that all converts to Biblical Christianity submit to water baptism "in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins" immediately after repenting and turning to faith and belief in the resurrected Christ. That the Holy Ghost Baptism is available to all who turn to the Lord in faith for salvation and that this experience is accompanied with the initial evidence of speaking with other tongues (other, unlearned languages) as the Spirit of the Lord enables. 6. CHRISTIAN LIVING - That the Hebrew Law was fulfilled in and by Christ Jesus at Calvary, and is no longer binding upon the hearts and lives of God's people. That the Christian life is marked by adherence to the disciplines, principals, and teachings of Jesus Christ and His apostles as articulated in the writings of the New Testament. Love for the brethren as well as those who are outside the church, church attendance, Bible study, prayer, fasting, substantive support of the work of God and His God-called ministers, and Christian fellowship are all indicative of a Christian life. 7. INCLUSION* - That all sincere seekers are welcome into the Church of Christ without prejudice or preference, regardless of age, race, gender, skin-color, land of origin, sexual orientation, gender identification, profession, or economic status. 8. GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT - That the (nine) gifts of the Holy Spirit, including Divine Healing and Prophecy are present in and essential to the Church of Jesus Christ as evidence of the Lord's resurrection and divinity. Bible References

9. THE RAPTURE - That the Lord Jesus Christ is soon to appear to redeem His purchased possession; (the "Rapture" of the church), the Born Again people of God. Bible References
