4. SIN - That all humanity is born into a sinful state and can only be saved through obedience (based upon faith) to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The heart and foundation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ rests upon His Divine identity, virgin birth, sinless life, death on the cross of Calvary and literal physical resurrection from the dead, as well as His promise to return to redeem His people unto Himself. The salvation message that was preached by the apostles and the early Christian church is clearly stated in Acts 2:38-39.
