Truth in Worship

7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, 8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. 9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Only when God's Word is quickened, or made alive, by His Spirit is truth present. Any pope, priest, preacher, pastor, prophet, or organization can make the Word of God say what they want it to say. But only when the Spirit of the Lord is speaking clearly through His Word, without man-made interpretations and applications, can truth be found.
